Vendor proposal comparison
Compare vendor proposals that were never written to be compared.
Each vendor answers your requirements in its own structure, prices the work its own way, and puts the important qualifications somewhere different. Proposight is proposal comparison software that normalizes those documents into one table you can read, question, and verify.
Why proposals are hard to compare
The proposals you receive are sales documents, not comparable datasets. One vendor quotes a fixed implementation fee, another quotes time and materials, a third prices per site. Requirements are answered in prose in one document and in a compliance matrix in another. Exclusions live in footnotes and in the master services agreement.
- Different pricing structures: fixed fee, per user, per site, tiered, T&M
- Different scope language for the same deliverable
- Requirements answered as “supported”, “configurable”, or “on the roadmap”
- Assumptions and exclusions separated from the pricing they change
- Questions that were simply never answered
What Proposight compares
Proposight extracts and normalizes the comparison points procurement teams actually argue about, then puts them in vendor columns side by side.
- Pricing, including one-off fees and multi-year totals
- Requirements, marked as met, partially met, or not addressed
- Scope and services included or excluded
- Implementation timelines and responsibilities
- Contract terms, support levels, and renewal conditions
- Assumptions, qualifications, and exclusions
- Missing or unclear information you still need to chase
Every comparison point is traceable
Nothing in the comparison is a summary you have to take on faith. Each cell carries a page or section reference back to the original proposal, so you can open the source and confirm the wording before you put a recommendation in front of a decision committee. Proposight does the first pass of extraction and normalization; the buyer still makes the decision.
Early customer use reduced proposal evaluation time by 5x compared with rebuilding the comparison by hand.
