Vendor evaluation

Evaluate vendors on what they actually committed to.

Vendor evaluation goes wrong when two proposals look equivalent but are not. One includes migration, the other excludes it. One quotes 12 months, the other 24. Proposight is vendor comparison software that puts those differences where the evaluation team can see them.

What gets compared

  • Requirements coverage, including partial and conditional answers
  • Total cost and the assumptions each price depends on
  • Services and scope: what is delivered, and by whom
  • Implementation timeline, milestones, and customer responsibilities
  • Support levels, contract length, and renewal terms
  • Exclusions and qualifications that change the real cost
  • Open questions that still need a written answer

Restrained signals, not invented scores

Proposight marks whether a requirement is met, partially met, missing, or materially different between vendors. It does not generate a confidence score or announce a winner. The evaluation team applies its own weighting — Proposight makes sure that weighting is applied to accurate, comparable inputs.

Verification is part of the workflow

Any cell can be traced to the page it came from. That matters when finance questions a number, when legal questions a term, or when a vendor disputes how their proposal was read. Early customer use reduced proposal evaluation time by 5x, mostly by removing the rebuild step that happens before evaluation can even start.
